Personal Information

Alderman Bob Young, oldest son of John and Bev Young, has been a proud resident of Leduc since 1960.  Bob and his wife Susan have two children - Laura and John.  Alderman Young received his education in Leduc, Red Deer College and at the University of Alberta, has been a teacher since 1979, and is currently working at the Leduc Junior High School.  

Alderman Young has been a very active member of the community for many years.  
  • Instrumental in the design and construction of the William F. Lede Diamonds.
  • Leduc's Citizen of the Year in 2000.
  • Former President of Leduc Minor Hockey - Leduc Ball Federation, Leduc Baseball, Leduc Minor Sports Parents Association.
  • Coached hockey, baseball, volleyball, basketball, soccer.
