When you pass this sign with a speed sign attached, you have entered a school zone and you must stay within the maximum posted speed, on school days.

Traffic Initiatives
Traffic safety in Leduc is enhanced by a policing partnership with the RCMP and Enforcement Services. Both agencies work together with the intent of reducing collisions in the Leduc area.

Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP)
Each month, Leduc enforcement services and RCMP members select an area relating to traffic enforcement. Enforcement operations are concentrated on that area for one month. These month-long enforcement objectives are designed to help raise awareness and prevent serious and dangerous traffic infractions.
