Blue Bag RecyclingCurbside Blue-Bag Recycling Program

The City of Leduc offers weekly pick up of recyclable material on the same day as your curbside garbage collection. Please leave your recycling on the curb, in a blue bag, before 7:00 a.m. for pick up. 

Acceptable items for recycling: Items that should NOT go in the blue bag:

Newsprint/heavy paper/Mixed paper
Magazines
Cereal boxes (inside plastic removed)
Paper egg cartons
Cardboard boxes
Milk jugs
Tin food cans
Clean clear glass jars
Beverage containers
Plastic containers
Tin pie plates 

Plastic toys
Bubble wrap
Styrofoam
Un-rinsed food containers
Diapers
Ceramics
Scrap metal or wood
Food or yard waste
Coloured glass
Soiled paper
Soiled containers
Plastic bags

Recycling Depot

City of Leduc residents who do not receive the blue bag recycling curbside pick up, as well as commercial/industrial businesses are encouraged to use the recycling depot.

The Recycling Depot offers four bins to place your recyclable products into. The same items accepted by the curbside pick up are accepted at the depot. All cardboard must be flattened and bundling is not required.

Electronic Waste

Electronic waste and other household waste can be delivered to the Leduc and District Regional Waste Management Facility

Remember...

If it has the recycling symbol on it, then yes it can be recycled. If there is no recycling symbol on it, it is not recyclable. Please keep your recycling uncontaminated.

That beverage containers can be deposited at the Leduc Bottle Depot.
