Christmas Tree Recycling
Christmas trees will be picked up with the regular garbage schedule in mid-January. Dates for the tree pick up will be advertised in the Leduc Representative and online.Tree pick up in 2012 will be the week of January 17 - 20.
Put your tree beside your garbage on your regular waste pick-up day. All trees must be cut to lengths of no more than four feet. Your regular waste pick up will occur at the scheduled time and tree pick up will occur later in the day. Trees are taken to the compost collection facility for chipping.
Tree disposal
If you do not wish to wait for the pick up date, please take your Christmas tree to the compost collection facility. The site is located on the south side of Telford Lake, east of the Rugby Clubhouse. You can also use the access road off of Black Gold Drive, on the east side of the Leduc Recreation Centre 3719 - 48 Avenue.
