Family and Youth Programs

FCSS_rainbows-brochure_graphic The Family and Youth program provides youth and families opportunities to strengthen personal life skills and parenting techniques through workshops (i.e. Anger Management and Active Parenting), over the phone, or in person. The Family and Youth program facilitates the development of youth leadership by providing bullying prevention and awareness strategies and Rainbows support (a grief and loss support group for children and youth).

Workshops are offered to youth and families to strengthen their personal life skills and parenting techniques. Referrals to other community agencies are provided to Leduc and area families. Ongoing community and social initiatives include: Leduc's Anti-bullying Initiative, and Youth Issues Working Group.

If you (parent or youth) are seeking out information, resources or need support in the areas of adolescent development, youth issues, parenting, or family wellness contact the Family and Youth Coordinator at (780) 980-8429.
