Guard of Honour
In 1999 Leduc County Fire Services and the City of Leduc Fire Services co-hosted the Alberta Fire Chiefs Association conference. In preparation for the opening ceremonies, members of the City fire services formed a Guard of Honour and Colour Party. Since that time, the Guard of Honour has represented the City of Leduc and Fire Services by participating in various functions. Events include; council events, the city's 100th Anniversary celebrations, the annual Blackgold Rodeo Days parade, the Alberta Junior Curling Championships and the Leduc Recreation Centre grand opening.

The Guard of Honour provides our members with ceremonial honours similar to thouse found at weddings and funerals. In November 2000, members of the City of Leduc Fire Brigade developed and approved the official colours (flag) of the brigade. These colours are carried with pride and honour in functions where the Guard of Honour is present.
