Parks, Open Spaces & Trails Master Plan
The City of Leduc is embarking on a nine-month process to update its Parks, Open Space and Trails (POST) Master Plan. The plan will provide an updated vision and strategies to direct the development of future parks, open spaces and trails for the city.
Residents are encouraged to provide their feedback and opinion on Leduc’s Parks, Open Spaces and Trails and give input on potential future priorities for development as the community continues to grow. The plan will take into account future development and location of key park priorities including athletic fields, outdoor rinks, park amenities, playgrounds / play spaces, and multiways.
The Master Plan process contains three steps: inventory, recommendations and implementation. The inventory section has been completed, and preliminary survey results and focus group findings will be presented on the website in the new year.

The POST team is going to be hard at work over the next couple of months compiling all the data and providing the preliminary recommendations report. At that time there will be an opportunity for residents to provide comments on the preliminary findings.
