2009 October Attainable Housing Strategy Award
October 2009The City of Leduc received the Alberta Association of the Canadian Institute of Planners (AAICP) 2009 Award for the City's 2008 Attainable Housing Strategy.
AAICP said the Strategy is an excellent example in the planning profession and meaningfully addresses fundamental housing needs. The strategy demonstrates the city's commitment to its Genuine Wealth Project, which measures the city's total wealth based on quality of life and other economic factors.
