The City of Leduc currently has a number of programs in place to assist you with your waste disposal and recycling needs.

The Environmental Programs Fee which appears on your Water/Sewer Utility bill assists with funding the city's environmental programs.

The City of Leduc and the Leduc Environmental Advisory Board are offering energy efficient rebates to help you do your part.
Leduc is committed to reducing its carbon footprint by partnering with Climate Change Central.
Washing Machine Rebate Program
The Govenrment of Alberta will give a $100 rebate to people who purchase an install ENERGY STAR qualified washing machines after January 1, 2009. To encourage participation in the program, the City of Leduc will provide an additional $75 rebate. That's a total of $175 back in your pocket.
High Efficiency Furnace Program
The Government of alberta will provide up to $600* for people who purchase and install a high efficiency furnace. The City of Leduc will provide an additional $400, making the total rebate possible for qualified furnaces $1000.
*The high efficiency furnace rebate from the province is tied to the efficiency rating of your furnace. Information can be found at www.climatechangecentral.com or by contacting their call centre at 1.888.537.7202.

Am I eligible?
Anyone who purchased a qualifying appliance after January 1, 2009 is eligible to participate in this program.

How to apply
Visit www.climatechangecentral.com and select My Rebates and click the appropriate icon. You'll find an Apply Now button which allows you to apply online (faster processing), or to print a paper application.
