Grants to Organizations

General Grants to Organizations: To provide assistance to City of Leduc non profit organizations whose activities result in benefits to the citizens of Leduc.

Grant requests involving recreation/amateur sport, arts, culture, parks, and other community activities will be reviewed by the city's Parks, Recreation and Culture Board (PRCB). The Board will make their recommendation to City Council on whether grant funding will be provided, and the amount of funding to be disbursed.

Grant requests involving social services programs and initiatives will be reviewed through the City's Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) Board for review. The Board will make their recommendation to City Council on whether grant funding will be provided, and the amount of funding to be disbursed. Grant request meeting criteria outlined in the FCSS Grant Application form will be vetted through the City's FCSS Board for review.

Any other grants not falling within the mandate of the two previously mentioned boards will be reviewed by an ad hoc Grants to Organizations Committee comprised of two city councilors, two members of the PRC board, two members of the FCSS board, and one CPS administration liaison (non voting).

The 2012 Grants to Organizations deadline is Friday, August 26th, 2011 at 12:00 p.m., MST.
