50th Avenue Overlay

Funding Support: Provincial Grant (MSI)

Timeline: Summer Fall 2020

Overview: This overlay is necessary to improve and mitigate a more extensive rehabilitation to the deteriorating structure of 50th Avenue. This project will cover the full width overlay of 50th Avenue from Grant MacEwan Blvd. to Alberta Transportation’s QEII Right of Way (Approx. 250 meters East of Discovery Way). To limit disruption to traffic flows during the day, a large portion of this project will be completed as evening and night work.

This project will be coordinated with other ongoing and future projects, Black Gold Drive and Grant MacEwan Blvd., to limit the disruption to motorists.
