How long will it take to construct the overpass?

Construction of the 65th Avenue Interchange is expected to take approximately 2-3 years once construction begins. A more detailed plan and timeline will be shared as the project evolves. 

How many people will this project employ?

The 65th Avenue Interchange Project will support 274 direct and 197 indirect full-time equivalent jobs during its construction phase. 

Will the existing 65 Avenue overpass be open during construction?

Construction of the interchange cannot be completed without some temporary closures of the existing flyover, but all efforts will be taken to mitigate traffic impacts to QEII.
