Simpson Park Multiway

With the Alberta Housing upgrade to the affordable housing units in Linsford, this made way for a 150m new multiway. This multiway will pass through Simpson Park, connecting residents to recreational areas in the community. As part of this project, the park will see the playground reinstalled.

Date Status Details
September 21, 2020 On-time The last few fence posts have been placed. Fence anticipated to be completed this week. 
September 2, 2020 On-time Fence installation is nearly complete. One section requires the ground to dry out before installing. 
August 12, 2020 On-time Paving is complete. Fencing installation will begin within the next couple of weeks. 
July 29, 2020 On-time Contractor is completing subgrade preparations this week. Gravel and paving to follow. 
July 23, 2020 On-time Contractor on-site and subgrade preparation is ongoing.Gravel placement expected to begin late next week.
July 15, 2020 Scheduled Contractor scheduled to be on site next week.
July 9, 2020 Scheduled Due to heavy rain, access has been delayed until weather permits
June 25, 2020 Scheduled No change. 
June 4, 2020 Scheduled Access to the site has been slightly delayed. The contractor is scheduled to start in early July.
May 26, 2020 Scheduled Access to the site is scheduled for mid-June. Once access to the contractor is given work will commence.
