BMO renews sponsorship at Leduc Recreation Centre
Bank of Montreal (BMO) will continue as the naming rights sponsor of the Leduc Recreation Centre (LRC) curling rink for another five years.
“BMO has enjoyed a great partnership with the City of Leduc for the past five years,” said Colin Lechelt, regional vice president with BMO. “We’re happy to continue being a part of the Leduc Recreation Centre.”
BMO has been the naming rights sponsor of the LRC curling rink since 2011. Formerly known as the BMO Curling Rink, the venue has been renamed the BMO Curling Centre. The $75,000 BMO sponsorship will last until April 30, 2021.
The BMO Curling Centre is an eight-sheet curling complex that is home to the Leduc Curling Club. Many activities are hosted at the facility during the offseason, including: banquets, indoor baseball/fastball, slo-pitch training, trade shows, air rifle competitions, and provincial events such as the 2012 Alberta Scotties Tournament of Hearts and the 2013 Alberta Boston Pizza Cup.
Corporate sponsorships contribute to facilities that improve the quality of life for Leduc residents, and provide sustained brand recognition for sponsors. Businesses interested in sponsoring a City facility can contact 780-980-7177 for details.
