City celebrates naming of LPH Boardroom in Leduc Recreation Centre

The City of Leduc is pleased to announce Leduc Plumbing and Heating (LPH) as the new sponsor of the east side boardroom in the Leduc Recreation Centre, now officially named the LPH Boardroom. The corporate sponsorship agreement took effect on July 20, 2020, and will span a five-year term.

“Local businesses have such an important role to play in our community and so we are proud to welcome Leduc Plumbing and Heating as a naming rights sponsor at the Leduc Recreation Centre,” says City of Leduc Mayor Bob Young. “The last few years have been challenging for our local business community and so their support amid these difficult times speaks volumes about their commitment and care for Leduc and the people who call our city home.”

Since 1949, LPH has provided professional plumbing and heating service to local families and has over the years expanded its business to include commercial services with more than 30 service technicians and staff. Over the years, LPH has also demonstrated its commitment to the community in supporting a wide variety of sports and arts/culture programming.

“LPH has been a proud sponsor of youth and adult sport and recreation for over 70 years. This partnership with the City of Leduc allows us to continue our support through community investment, which has been a top priority for LPH since the beginning,” says Curtis Garlough, General Manager of Leduc Plumbing and Heating. “Small business owners like ourselves see the difference we can make in our community. The LPH Boardroom provides a professional and comfortable environment for meetings, seminars or programs with drop-down screen and overhead projector. It can accommodate up to 28 people and is available for public bookings; please contact events_bookings@leduc.ca.
