City seeking feedback for 65 Avenue area structure plan
Throughout 2018 and 2019, the City of Leduc will be gathering public feedback to inform the creation of a 65 Avenue Area Structure Plan (ASP). This new ASP will address land directly south of the Edmonton International Airport (EIA) and west of QEII highway, north of the Bridgeport neighborhood.
With detailed design of the 65 Avenue and QEII Highway interchange underway, this ASP will be an important part of creating a new land use plan for the area. Lands in this area are integral to the economic viability and prosperity of the region due to their proximity to current development at the EIA.
The first public open house will be held:
WHEN: Oct. 25, 2018 (4:30 – 7 p.m.)
WHERE: Civic Centre Atrium (1 Alexandra Park, Leduc)
The city invites residents, organizations and agencies of the Leduc region to attend this open house to provide feedback and develop a vision for the area that will enable responsible growth. The City of Leduc has retained the services of Stantec and MXD Development Strategists to lead engagement and development of both the land-use concept and servicing plan.
Details of future engagement opportunities will be provided as they are available. For more information about the 65 Avenue ASP, visit Leduc.ca/65-avenue-area-structure-plan, phone 780-980-7177 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
