Curbside pickup of large items scheduled for week of May 25
The City of Leduc’s annual large item pickup continues this year during the week of May 25-29 for curbside collection customers.
Residents are invited to place a maximum of two large items at the curb with their regular carts on their scheduled collection day.
Items eligible for this special service include electronics, appliances (other than fridges and freezers), water heaters, furniture, doors, sports equipment, barbeques and lawn mowers with oil and gas removed.
We will not take any mattresses this year due to COVID-19.
Items must be a maximum of 60 inches wide (five feet) and 150 pounds (68 kilograms) to be eligible for pickup.
- only handle your own items,
- never take any items left out by others, and
- only collectors can pick items up from the curbside.
Collectors will be taking special COVID-19 safety precautions.
Fridges and freezers can be taken to the Leduc and District Regional Waste Management Facility for proper disposal. A $26 fee does apply.
