Free masks provided for Leduc Transit and LATS customers

Friday, July 17, 2020

Leduc Transit has joined transit services across the province this week in distributing free masks to their ridership to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Masks are shared on board of all Leduc Transit and Leduc Assisted Transportation Service (LATS) buses, which began earlier this week.

All non-medical masks are provided by the Government of Alberta as part of their relaunch strategy in an effort to protect citizens from a potential second wave of COVID-19 infections.

Although masking isn’t mandatory to access transit services in the Leduc region, it is strongly encouraged for the protection of transit operators and riders.

Mask distribution is first come, first serve and available on board.
