Leduc’s post-secondary students can access free passes until Sept. 18, 2020
Any students attending in-class sessions at Edmonton post-secondary institutions (University of Alberta, NAIT, MacEwan University, and NorQuest) can obtain a free Leduc Transit Pass, but only until Sept. 18 at the Leduc Civic Centre. Passes obtained after this date are subject to regular fare ($90).
Students will be required to share their name, school, student identification number and registration documents as the free transit pass is only one per student. If the free pass is misplaced or lost, students will be required to purchase the pass at regular fare.
Leduc and Leduc County have taken this approach to provide some financial reprieve for students as the U-Pass was discontinued for the fall term. College and university students will still be required to purchase a pass for Edmonton Transit Services (ETS) as the free Leduc Transit Pass will get them as far as Century Park.
The free Leduc Transit Pass for post-secondary students is only valid on Leduc Transit Services until Dec. 31, 2020. For more information visit Leductransit.ca, email email@example.com or call 780-980-8444.
