Leduc law enforcement on patrol to reward good behaviours
Monday, May 8, 2023
Showing kindness, being safe and helping others are key for Leduc’s younger population to receive a sweet reward during this year’s Positive Ticket Program.
This program is designed to create opportunities for positive interactions for children and youth with local Community Peace Officers and RCMP by rewarding their good deeds, safety-first decisions and kind acts.
Hosted by City of Leduc Enforcement Services (LES) and Leduc RCMP, children and youth may be rewarded for some of the following:
- Wearing a helmet and safety gear
- Practicing crosswalk safety
- Helping others, like holding open a door
- Picking up litter/trash in a park
- Knowledgeable of safety tips pertaining to their age group and/or activity
- Volunteering
Program partners this year include Husky Black Gold, McDonald's and Marble Slab Creamery.
For more information, visit Leduc.ca/positive-tickets or call 780-980-71537 (1LES).
