Wednesday, April 17, 2019

Leduc Mayor Bob Young made the following comments on the election:

“On behalf of Leduc City Council and administration, I want to congratulate Jason Kenney and all his elected MLAs. We look forward to working with them over the next four years.
The Leduc Region is an economic hub for the province and we play a crucial role in getting goods from all sectors to market. We look forward to working with Mr. Kenney’s government to ensure that our region has the infrastructure, community and economic development supports needed to ensure a prosperous region for today, tomorrow and years to come. The success of the province means that Leduc is successful and we value the important partnership that we have with the province.

I also want to thank Premier Notley and Municipal Affairs Minister Shaye Anderson for their support over the last fours years. Together, we were able to ensure that new schools were built, financial support for 65th avenue, and advancement in economic diversity for our region – all of which have helped establish long-term success and sustainability for our region. Your contribution to the public service is very much appreciated.”
