Leduc RCMP Integrated Traffic Unit arrest three in stolen vehicle

On Sept. 29, 2020 at approximately 12:25 p.m., Leduc RCMP Integrated Traffic Unit received a complaint of an erratic driver on Highway 2 northbound.

Patrols were made and the vehicle was located parked on the shoulder of Highway 2 near the Kavanagh Flyover. Further investigation revealed that the vehicle was stolen out of Elk Point.

Two males and one female were arrested without incident. The female was taken to hospital as a precaution and released back into police custody once cleared.

Geraldine Moocheweines (37) of Frog Lake was charged with:

  • Possession of stolen property over $5000
  • Fail to comply with release order

Moocheweines was released to appear in Leduc Provincial Court Nov. 12, 2020.

Ronald Monias (43) of Frog Lake was charged with:

  • Possession of stolen property over $5000

Monias was released to appear in Leduc Provincial Court November 12, 2020.

Howard Mcgilvery (56) of Saddle Lake was charged with:

  • Possession of stolen property over $5000

Mcgilvery was released to appear in Leduc Provincial Court Nov. 12, 2020.
