Maclab Centre introduces new season for your entertainment

Wednesday, September 8, 2021

It’s time to rediscover Leduc’s arts and music scene as the Maclab Centre for the Performing Arts proudly shares their 2021/22 performance season.

“We’ve designed this performance season to help broaden customer choices and experiences for local entertainment,” says Donna Brock, director of Community and Social Development with the City of Leduc. “With live streaming, we’re able to help connect families and friends for key moments and milestones when their loved ones hit the stage. We’re also creating new opportunities to explore what the theatre has to offer for your in-home entertainment.”

WHAT’S IN STORE

  • Performance series has nine (9) feature shows, as hosted by the Maclab Centre. Tickets are available through subscription for the entire season, explorer package of any three shows with 15 per cent off, and individual tickets (prices vary).
  • NEW Wednesday Mosaic series features 26 performances folks can watch in-person or live streamed within their home. Patrons can subscribe or purchase individual tickets for this new service.
  • Black Stone Community Family series is free to the community, through a partnership with the Leduc Public Library. Tickets are available at the library or at the door on performance day.

“We truly value the community partnerships that help us make our performance season a success,” says Brock. “In working with Black Stone Communities, we’re able to provide free family entertainment which is a fantastic opportunity for families to try something new and visit our theatre.”
