Plans announced for 2019 Leduc Canada Day celebrations

The City of Leduc invites residents and visitors to celebrate Canada’s 152nd birthday at our annual outdoor concert and fireworks show:

WHAT: Canada Day outdoor concert
WHERE: Lede Park
WHEN: July 1, 2019 (evening events begin at 7 p.m., and fireworks at 11 p.m.)

This year’s free outdoor concert will be headlined by Canadian rock band and Juno award winners Sloan and will be followed by a spectacular fireworks display. Calgary-based band The Static Shift will open the concert.

There are a full day of festivities planned throughout the city in addition to the evening concert and fireworks, including:

  • 10 a.m. – Pancake breakfast at the Leduc Legion
  • Noon – Canada Day parade (50 Avenue)
  • 12:30 p.m. – Flag raising ceremony, Leduc Legion
  • 12:30 – 3 p.m. – Family activities at the Leduc Heritage Grain Elevator (47 Street)
