Public input helps shape EMS service delivery improvements

Monday, February 24, 2020

Quality customer care and patient safety are the top priorities for City of Leduc Fire Services, as demonstrated in achieving accreditation status in August 2018. However, the road to improvement doesn’t end there.

Accreditation is an ongoing process set with a high level of professional standards for health care personnel, governed by Accreditation Canada.

To help improve the emergency medical services they provide, Leduc Fire offers an online survey for any customers and/or their family and friends to provide their opinions on the service their received. This also includes any members of the public who may have observed an emergency medical event and would like to share their input. In this survey, participants are asked a variety of questions, from overall satisfaction to the orderliness and tidiness of the ambulance. Survey results will be used to help enhance emergency medical service delivery and patient care, and is part of the ongoing accreditation process.

Visit Leduc.ca/emssurvey to participate in the survey online. Hard copies are available at Fire House 1 (2-4119 50th St) and at the Leduc Civic Centre (1 Alexandra Park).
