Take a breath of fresh air on Clean Air Day
On Wednesday, June 6, you’re invited to celebrate Clean Air Day by taking a free ride on Leduc Transit and Leduc Assisted Transportation Service (LATS). Residents in the region are encouraged to leave their cars at home and take public transit to play a part in improving air quality.
Clean Air Day is a Canada-wide initiative aimed at making choices – big and small – that have a positive lasting impact on clean air and climate change. The City of Leduc and Leduc County are mindful of the effect that transportation has on the sustainability and conservation of air quality in the region. Riding Leduc Transit or LATS for free on June 6 is one of many ways residents can make a difference.
Residents who choose to participate in Clean Air Day can catch any LATS shuttle (pre-approved clients only) or Leduc Transit bus connecting Leduc, Nisku, Leduc County, Edmonton International Airport and Century Park LRT station in south Edmonton.
This is an excellent opportunity to experience Leduc Transit’s new Route 10 with service from Leduc and Leduc County to the Premium Outlet Collection Edmonton International Airport. Clean Air Day includes free transfer to ETS Route 747 from Leduc Transit Route 10; however, return fare for transfer from ETS Route 747 to Leduc Transit will be required.
