Third annual pet event offers fun, furry day out at the dog park

Monday, May 13, 2019

Leduc Enforcement Services is hosting a fun-filled, free outdoor event for dogs and their owners:

  • WHAT: 3rd Annual Dog Days of Summer
  • WHEN: June 8, 2019, 2 – 4 p.m.
  • WHERE: Leduc K-9 Off-leash Park (behind the Leduc Recreation Centre)

“This event is a ‘fun-tastic’ way to get to know your community, local pet businesses, and your local Community Peace Officers,” says Sgt. Michael Stadnyk, with enforcement services. “We’ve moved this K-9 party to the weekend, which is different than in past years, to provide more families the opportunity to join us and learn more about pet services available in Leduc and the surrounding region.”

Dog Days of Summer is designed to gather pet owners, their pets and the business community to help create connections with City of Leduc Enforcement Services and share valuable information and pet-focused resources.

This event will feature local businesses that focus on pet services and have a dog agility demonstration.

For more information or to become a vendor at this year’s event, please call enforcement services at 780-980-7200 option 5.
