Occupational Health and Safety workshop

Wednesday, February 12, 2020

The City of Leduc is pleased to partner with Leduc County and IntegralOrg to present a 4-part series of workshops - each taking place on the second Wednesday of the month from January to April 2020 - meant to help you strengthen your volunteer organization and set you up for success.

Occupational Health and Safety Workshop

Date: February 12, 2020
Time: 6 to 8 p.m.
Location: Leduc Civic Centre, Lede Room
Cost: $20

Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) legislation in Alberta was recently overhauled to bring it up to speed with the rest of Canada, setting new standards that all employers - including those in the non-profit sector - must comply with.

Did you know, for example, that the OHS Act's definition of workers includes volunteers?

Compliance can often feel overwhelming, but IntegralOrg is here to help get you on your way to OHS compliance and a safer workplace. Join us for this workshop, which provides an overview of the recent legislation changes, an intro to our online toolkit, and help with getting your organization on the right track for all your OHS processes and policies.

Space is limited, and registration is required. Please visit https://integralorg.ca/events/occupational-health-and-safety-leduc/ for more info or to register. Questions? Call Volunteer Leduc at 780-980-7166.
