Willow Park Neighbourhood Renewal

Willow Park renewal will see the upgrade of stormwater infrastructure on 52 Street/57 Avenue, 53 Street, 54 Street and 55 Avenue that will improve drainage in the area.

Certain roads and sidewalks in Willow Park will also see a full reconstruction to ensure their continued stability and safety for years to come. In addition, elevated crosswalks will be constructed on 52 Street in front of Willow Park School to improve pedestrian safety.

There may be temporary impacts to street parking, mail delivery, and bussing to complete the work as efficiently as possible. Residents in the area are encouraged to please keep an eye out for signage and additional details from the contractor throughout the season.

Note: If you have new concrete installed on your property, the application of ice melt can cause damage. The City recommends using sand to control ice on new concrete for the first year. Free sand and chips bins are placed around the City for you – find your closest bin location
