Leduc and District Regional Waste Management Facility Welcomes New Operations Provider
The Leduc and District Regional Waste Management Commission (LDRWMC) is excited to announce Environmental 360 Solutions Ltd. (E360S) as the successful candidate in the operations take-over of the Waste Management Facility starting January 1, 2024. Residents can expect the same services when visiting the Facility.
“It's my pleasure to welcome E360S as our new landfill operators,” says Commission Manager, Mike Pieters. “The site has operated at a very high level of professionalism and environmental stewardship over the last 40 plus years. We look forward to opportunities to create a more sustainable waste management facility with the addition of new equipment and software.”
E360S is committed to improving the sustainability of the facility’s operations and supporting the collective effort of households to reduce their carbon footprint through recycling initiatives and efficient collection routing. E360S will focus on processing waste and making the site accessible for commercial and residential traffic. All new equipment, including a Tana landfill packer, and additional staff at peak times, and an on-site training program to improve operators skills.
