The Volunteer Income Tax Program is a free service for eligible City of Leduc residents. It helps low-income individuals and families complete their income tax return at no cost. Volunteers recruited by FCSS are trained by the CRA to help prepare and submit simple tax returns.

The clinic runs from March 16 to April 30.

The City of Leduc has offered this service for more than 15 years and has helped hundreds of people file their tax returns, supporting financial health, access to benefits, and resiliency.

  • Eligible residents visit FCSS to drop off their tax documents for filing, we do not book appointments.
  • Residents must provide government issued photo ID and be present to sign the authorization.
  • FCSS provides the collected information to tax volunteers who complete the returns later (not during the client’s visit).
