Connect with neighbours, build relationships, and take part in programs that strengthen our community

The City of Leduc’s FCSS team offers a variety of community-building programs designed to foster connection, inclusion and wellbeing. These initiatives help residents meet each other, learn together, and support one another.

Workshops and Events

Whether you’re looking for ways to get involved, participate in neighbourhood events, or explore workshops that build skills and connection, FCSS’s workshops and events can be found on the City’s Events and Activities Calendar.

Sincerely, Leduc

Every summer, we accept cards, fun stories, and drawings and share them with Leduc’s older generation. Sincerely, Leduc is an anonymous letter-writing campaign to help bring joy to and celebrate seniors in our community.

Good Neighbours Program

Good Neighbours are people whose selfless efforts help create connected, friendly, and safe communities. We appreciate their contributions, and the Good Neighbours program is a way of supporting their efforts. The program helps foster a strong sense of community through neighbourhood-based activities such as Block Parties, Block Connectors and Wee Free Libraries.

Community Wellness Survey 2025

In 2025, the City conducted a Community Wellness Survey to collect resident input that will help shape future FCSS initiatives and promote well-being and connection. From May 1 – August 31, 2025, residents shared their experiences, concerns, and ideas about community wellness and belonging. Here’s what we heard from 415 respondents. Based on the findings, FCSS is developing workshops that will be offered throughout 2026 and 2027.
