Aquatic Certification Sponsorship Program
We're seeking not-yet-certified competent swimmers who are interested in becoming a lifeguard or swim instructor with the City of Leduc!
As some of the most publicly visible and engaged members of our Aquatics Services team, our lifeguards and swim instructors play a very important role in achieving our goal of offering the best aquatic experience, including the best lessons, safest swims, and cleanest facilities.
As a lifeguard or swim instructor, your typical work day will be fun and physically challenging, but also comes with the responsibility of ensuring the safety of our aquatic facility users. If you would love to work in this type of role but are missing the certifications to qualify, don’t throw in the towel just yet! The City's Aquatic Certification Sponsorship Program will provide the support and training you need to join our team.
Fire Services Recruitment
City of Leduc Fire Services team members work in an integrated staffing model and consist of medically trained career and paid on-call firefighters.
Please note: Effective Sept. 27, 2021, the City of Leduc requires all Leduc Fire Services employees to be fully immunized against COVID-19 no later than Oct. 31, 2021 (in accordance with the Alberta Health Services mandate for the immunization of workers and contractors). New employees will be required to provide proof of immunization prior to their start date.
