Annually, nominations are gathered to recognize and celebrate outstanding citizens, groups, and businesses that have made a tremendous contribution to our community.
Leduc’s Citizen Recognition Program is designed to honour and celebrate individuals, teams, groups, organizations, and local businesses for their significant contributions and influences on this community
We offer the following programs with an annual deadline of March 31:
Citizens of Distinction
Influencers
Influencer awards are designed to celebrate and honour Leduc’s youth between the ages of 17 and 21 for their outstanding contributions to the community. Winners of this award get a $1,000 bursary.
Sports Hall of Fame
Leduc Sports Hall of Fame honours local athletes, leaders, and teams who have excelled at a local, national, or international level.
An induction gala is held for inductees, family, friends and the community to celebrate this milestone and legacy, typically held later in the year.
Inductees are selected by the Leduc Sports Hall of Fame Committee and will be celebrated at the next gala.
Leduc Achievement Awards
Nominations are accepted as part of the Citizen Recognition Program and acknowledge the outstanding achievements of individuals, groups, organizations, and businesses that have brought recognition and/or benefit to both this community and its citizens.
