Public notices are used to inform the public of opportunities to have their say in local government business. Notices are published 14 days in advance, as required by the Municipal Government Act (MGA) and the Advertising Bylaw, with information on how, when and where the public can request further information or provide comments to Council or City Staff.

Current Notices

Notices are listed below 14 days in advance of the applicable date.

  • Public notice for NE33 Outline Plan proposes amendments to add Plan 222 0827, Block 1, Lot 2, which were recently purchased by the developer of Anderson/Leduc Landing, to the approved Outline Plan area (NE-33-49-25-W4) in order to provide more cohesive planning for the neighbourhood.
  • The public hearing is scheduled for the regularly scheduled meeting of Leduc City Council on June 1, 2026. The proposed adoption of the outline plan is scheduled for later in the same meeting.
  • Public notice for Bylaw 1252-2026 proposes amendments to redistrict a section in the Southfork neighbourhood (SW ¼ Sec. 23-49-25W4M) to provide an opportunity for more efficient use of land and a more compact urban form as part of Southfork Stage 17.
  • The public hearings are scheduled for the regularly scheduled meeting of Leduc City Council on Jun. 15, 2026. Second and third readings of the bylaw are scheduled for later in the same meeting.
  • First reading on May 25, 2026.
  • Public notice for Bylaw 1253-2026 proposes amendments to redistrict an area in the Anderson neighbourhood (S ½ of NW ¼ Sec. 33-49-25-W4) for continued residential development as part of Anderson Stage 2. The changes involve compact residential lots and planning for utilities and a multiway.
  • The public hearings are scheduled for the regularly scheduled meeting of Leduc City Council on Jun. 15, 2026. Second and third readings of the bylaw are scheduled for later in the same meeting.
  • First reading on May 25, 2026.
