A third fire hall will be built on the east side of the City of Leduc. Construction is expected to take two years to complete. The location of the new fire hall will enhance emergency response capabilities in the industrial area and provide improved coverage for residential areas.
Fire Hall 3 will be single-story building and include:

| Jan. 12 | Mechanical and electrical rough-in of the offices is ongoing. Sprinkler installation has commenced. Sumps and trench forming in the appartus bay are ongoing with slab and mezzanine preparation to continue in the coming weeks. |
| Feb. 4 | Mechanical and electrical wall rough-ins are complete and drywall is ongoing. Ceiling rough-ins are onoing and exterior cladding has commenced. These works will continue to progress over the next few weeks. Sumps, trenches and the mezzanine slab have all be poured in the apparatus bay. Slab preparation is ongoing for the apparatus bay slab which is scheduled in the coming weeks. |
| Feb. 18 | Exterior cladding installation is ongoing. Drwall mudding and taping has started in the office. The apparatus bay slab has been placed. The interior block walls in the apparatus bay has commenced. Mechanical and electrical room equipment will be delivered this week with installations ongoing in the coming weeks. |
| Mar. 5 | Exterior cladding and finishes are almost complete. Drywall finishing and Block wall construction in the apparatus bay is nearly complete. Mechanical and electrical room equipment installation and apparatus bay rough in has commenced. |
| Mar. 19 | Exterior cladding and interior block wall construction are complete. The emergency generator was delivered this week. Mechanical and electrical work continue to progress in the apparatus bay. Painting has commenced in the office. Wall/floor tile and t-bar ceilings are scheduled to commence to the coming weeks. |
