Pursuant to Section 534 of the Municipal Government Act, the City of Leduc hereby gives notice the construction of the following public works have been completed as of December 31, 2025:
Roadway Improvements
This contract consisted of multiway construction which included removal and replacement of portions of road structure, curb, gutter, sidewalk, and landscaped areas. Work completed in this contract included:
a. 47 Street Multiway, including the following roadways
- 47 Street from 50 Avenue to 61 Avenue
- 50 Street from 61 Avenue to 64 Avenue
This contract consisted of the surface rehabilitation of various roadways and rear lane reconstruction segments which included the removal and replacement of lane structure. Select sections of driveway removal/replacement was completed in the areas. Work completed in this contract included:
a. Willow Park Phase 2, including the following roadways:
- 51 Street from 50 Avenue to 54 Avenue
- 51A Street from 52 Avenue to 54 Avenue
- 51 Avenue from 50 Street to 51 Street
- 52 Avenue from 51 Street to 52 Street
- 54 Avenue from 50 Street to 51A Street
b. Linsford Lanes, including the following roadways:
- 53 Street from 46 Avenue to 48 Avenue
- 48 Avenue from 51 Street to 50 Street
c. 65 Avenue Interchange, including the following roadways:
- 50th Street from 65th Ave to 65th Ave
- 65th Ave from Sparrow Drive to 50th Street
- Grant MacEwan Blvd from Creekside Dr to 65th Ave
- 65th Ave from Grant MacEwan Blvd to QE2

a. Noise wall along part of Queen Elizabeth II Highway
Pursuant to Section 534 of the Municipal Government Act, an owner of land that abuts land on which the city has constructed a public work may make a claim for compensation if the appraised value of the owner’s land is permanently reduced as a result of the existence of the public work. Claims for compensation under Section 534 of the Municipal Government Act must be received by the city within 60 days of this publication and must state the amount claimed and the particulars of the claim. Such claims must be filed with the City Solicitor, City of Leduc, #1 Alexandra Park, Leduc AB, T9E 4C4.
