Smoke/CO Alarm Program

The City of Leduc Fire Services in conjunction with fire prevention week is targeting older neighbourhoods in the community to receive smoke/CO Alarms as part of an overall fire prevention strategy. The criteria for qualification for a device are as follows:

  • The residence was constructed during or prior to 1978
  • Be senior citizen/older adult
  • Have a disability
  • Live on a low income

This program usually runs in early October.


The personal information on this form is being collected in accordance with section 33(c) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIP) and is protected by FOIP and will be used to contact residents for the Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm Program.
