Specific guidelines set out by the Access to Information Act (ATIA) and Protection of Privacy Act (POPA) determine whether information may be released entirely or in part.
If you would like to request information that is not routinely available, you can:
- Complete and submit an official Access to Information Request Form or
- Send a written request indicating the desired information pursuant to the Access to Information Act (ATIA) and Protection of Privacy Act (POPA)
A written request must accompany a $25 administration fee. Additional fees may be charged in accordance with the Access to Information Act (ATIA) and Protection of Privacy Act (POPA) legislation and/or the City’s Fees & Charges Bylaw, and the applicant will be notified of any additional costs at the time of the request.
The more detailed the request, the more efficiently it can be answered. Dates, times, and locations will assist with processing a request. You may deliver your request in person to our Civic Centre location, mail it to our Civic Centre offices at 1 Alexandra Park, Leduc, AB T9E4C4, or please contact our Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Officer, Nicholas Fonseca at (780)-980-7173.
