The new cemetery is being constructed as the existing cemetery in the City of Leduc approaches capacity. Roadwork and landscaping were completed in 2024.
The completed cemetery will be 7,500 square metres and include:
- 10 columbarium structures
- A memorial wall
- A walkway
- A central gathering area
