We’re here to support you. Early. Confidentially. Without Judgement.

Family & Community Support Services (FCSS) and the Family Resource Network (FRN) help people of all ages build wellbeing, stay connected, and find the right resources at the right time. These services are free or low-cost and available to all residents. This includes support for individuals, families, seniors, youth, and caregivers.

Whether you’re going through a life transition, looking for community programs, or unsure where to start, our team can help.

What we can help with

If you’re experiencing housing instability, struggling with bills, or unsure how to access government benefits, FCSS can guide you through available programs and connect you to local supports. This is prevention-focused assistance that helps residents remain safely housed.

FCSS provides supportive, confidential conversations and referrals for matters such as relationships, stress, mental wellness, addictions support, and life planning. Individual support helps you understand options, build a path forward, and connect to the right provincial or community resources.

The Family Resource Network (FRN) offers programs that help caregivers build strong family relationships—from prenatal and newborn support through teenage development. Services include parenting workshops, home visitation, developmental screenings, and one-on-one coaching.

Older Adult Services provide personalized support to help older residents stay connected and access practical support. This includes benefit applications, completing various forms, transportation options, home visitation, community outreach and referrals to community resources.

Leduc youth have access to leadership programs, anti-bullying support, mental health resources, recreational opportunities, and the Youth Council. Youth Outreach Workers offer free, confidential support.

In some of our toughest moments, it’s hard to know where to turn. In any municipality, including Leduc, the social programs and services needed to support the local vulnerable population are constantly evolving. Leduc cares about its vulnerable residents and provides diverse services to support vulnerable people in our community.

FCSS and FRN host a variety of workshops, webinars, events, and programs designed to build skills, confidence, and connection, including financial literacy, parenting skills, social inclusion, creative programs, and more.
