Motorists in Leduc are reminded to enjoy the holiday season safely and responsibly.
Last Friday, the City’s Enforcement and Fire Services partnered with MADD, Victim Services and the Leduc RCMP to hold its annual Candy Cane Checkstop, reminding motorists in our community to drive safely this holiday and winter season.
Leduc’s elementary School Resource Officer is also supporting this message by leading a liquor bag campaign where Leduc’s grade 5 students learn about the importance of responsible driving decisions and decorate paper bags, which are then provided to local liquor stores for use during December as an extra reminder for customers to make safe transportation decisions.
