Guided by his faith in Jesus and a deep desire to set an example for others, Jerome has dedicated himself to making a lasting difference in both his school and the Leduc community.

As President of Christ the King’s Student Representative Council, Jerome organized various initiatives including fundraisers for the Leduc Food Bank and Leduc Hub. His efforts led to the creation of the “Make Your Mark” initiative, funded through a grant from the United Way, which provided 30 backpacks filled with essential items for Leduc’s houseless population.

His spirit of volunteerism and community extends into participation in the revival of other student groups at Christ the King including choir, yearbook, and rosary clubs. Jerome leads by example not only in his school and church communities, but in every aspect of his life. His guiding principle is simple: if you have the means to help someone, you have the responsibility to act.

Jerome plans to continue his leadership within Leduc, as he pursues a Bachelor of Science in Psychology this fall. He hopes to continue his volunteerism, ensuring youth and vulnerable people in Leduc have the resources they need to succeed.

Jerome’s leadership, compassion, and vision for a better community are why he’s being recognized with this award.
