A supportive, confidence-building swim program where caregivers join children in the water for personalized guidance, safety skills, and joyful learning. The course welcomes every child who benefits from extra support, a slower pace, or a little more encouragement – diagnosis or not. Learn. Grow. Thrive in and around the water!

Take the guessing game out of your swimming registration. In ten minutes, an instructor can assess skill level and recommend the proper program level to register for.
 

Explore a variety of aquatic specialty and leadership programs for youth and adults through the Lifesaving Society. These nationally recognized certifications help participants build essential swimming, water rescue, lifeguarding, and instructional skills. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to advance into leadership roles, there’s a pathway for you!

This high intensity interval training in the pool is a chance for participants to push their heart rates using cardio and strength-building power drills in the pool.

Get your work-out before dinner! Join us for this low-impact mind-body exercise system focusing on core strength, flexibility, posture, and mindful movement.

Teens bored? Teen Fit: This program is a prerequisite for youth ages 12 – 15 to use the RE/MAX Fitness Centre, Indoor Track and attend drop-in fitness classes. Youth will learn the basics of fitness centre etiquette, safety, resistance training, and guidelines to exercising for beginners. Youth will get a tour of the fitness centre including equipment instruction.

Join us for this Yin Yoga Workshop, which is a slow, restorative practice where poses are held for 1–5 minutes to gently strengthen, lengthen, and release the joints, ligaments, and connective tissues while encouraging mindfulness and deep relaxation.

A new kind of family outing at the LRC! Grandma or Grandpa partnered with their grandchild doing arts, crafts and even cooking. Each class will be something new and exciting for the special bond between the ages to grow. Max of 1 child/adult, indoor shoes & socks are mandatory.

We’ve done it again and shrunk the OG Mini Cupcake 101 class into Mini Cupcakes 100! Mix, bake and decorate some mini cupcakes each week that will be almost too cute to consume. Learn the basics of crafting these mini delights. All participants must wear indoor shoes. NOTE: This is NOT an allergy free zone!

Schools out so come to the LRC for a PD Day Camp! We will be busy doing activities, playing games and having a ball. We will be swimming each day so don’t forget your swim stuff. We offer two age groups for registration: ages 6 – 7* and 8 – 11.

Sportball offers a big variety of Multi-Sport and Sport-Specific weekly class programs designed to teach kids the gross motor skills they need to get in the game, including balance, stamina, strength, timing and coordination. Expert Coaches break down skills into kid-sized bites of fun in supportive, non-competitive settings that encourage teamwork. Whether we’re teaching toddlers how to kick or pre-teens how to bat, our goal is the same: to give kids the tools to get in the game and leave them with the desire to stay in the game.
