What is happening?
GS Construction is currently working on a water replacement program in your neighborhood. As part of this work, it is necessary to temporarily shut down the water main servicing your property.
When will the water service interruption occur?
To complete this work, your water service will be shut off from 8:00 a.m. to approximately 4:00 p.m on the date listed above.
What will happen if there are changes to the work schedule?
We apologize for this inconvenience and will continue our work until service can be restored. If, for some reason, your water service needs to be shut off for a longer period of time, or we are unable to do work at this time, we will notify you again.
Will I be able to obtain water during the service interruption?
No. Please draw enough water for your needs prior to the shut down and turn off the power to any equipment that could be damaged by a water supply loss (e.g. boilers for heating, water-cooled computers, refrigeration systems and air conditioners).
Are there any specific instructions for me?
Yes. To maintain the same water quality in your home, after your water services are restored, we strongly recommend you run the cold water for five minutes through each one of your taps, including basement and outside taps, starting with the bathtub faucet as it does not have a screen to allow material to be flushed from the system.
Who can I call if I have questions about the service interruption?
If you have any questions or concerns related to this interruption in your water supply, please see the job foreman on site, or phone the number listed below.
