Summer in the City returns on Saturday, July 25, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at various parks and locations around Leduc!
Local organizations are invited to host a booth and activities for participants to enjoy. Register your organization today.
This one-day City event is for residents and organizations to connect for some summer fun. Participating organizations will have an opportunity to share information on what they do and how they serve the community. As a resident, you may even find an organization you’d really love to volunteer for. Food trucks will be on-site at select locations.
Summer in the City will take place rain or shine. Severe weather events such as high winds or thunderstorms may cancel or postpone activities.
Alexandra Park
When: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Activities:
- Council Chat, petting zoo, face painting, roving performers
Aileen Faller Park
When: 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Activities:
- Free BBQ, foam party, inflatables and face painting
Leduc Recreation Centre
When: 1 to 3:30 p.m.
Activities:
- Free drop-in at the fieldhouse, courts and public skate
Leduc Boat Club
When: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Activities:
- Free boat rentals. Registration required in advance.
Caledonia Park
When: 3 to 6 p.m.
Activities:
- Don’t miss Ride The Vibe’s Extreme show. An exhilarating freestyle Moto-Trials show for audiences of all ages. Showtimes at 3:20, 4:30 and 5:40 p.m.
