Join Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) for a free interactive workshop facilitated by the Rural Development Network that explores how welcoming newcomers strengthens community connection and wellbeing for everyone.

Participants will:

  • Examine common myths surrounding immigration
  • Learn about immigration in our region
  • Gain practical tools and resources to help create welcoming workplaces, organizations and communities

Through a mix of knowledge sharing, discussion, and interactive activities, participants will have an opportunity to exchange ideas, recognize community strengths, and identify ways to foster belonging.
