In recognition of Family Violence Prevention Month, join us as we explore the intersections of domestic violence within the workplace. This free event is open to all including community members, professionals, and those in the business community.
The event will include the following sessions:
Domestic violence and your workplace, presented by Alberta Council of Women’s Shelters. Gain a better understanding of the realities of domestic violence, how the COVID pandemic changed the landscape for survivors and those who support them, how domestic violence relates to work and the workplace, and how they can be part of the solution.
Leading Change, presented by Camrose Women’s Shelter. Become a leader in your community against gender-based violence by learning about healthy, unhealthy, and abusive relationships, how to recognize warning signs, and how to help those affected.
Presented in partnership with Leduc County, Camrose Women’s Shelter Society and Alberta Council of Women’s Shelters.
