The Leduc Recreation Centre (LRC)’s Indoor Playground will operate under a new name moving forward: Code Ninjas Leduc Indoor Playground.
The naming sponsorship took effect on March 15, 2026, and will span a three-year term. The sponsorship will broadly support recreation services, programs, initiatives, and operations in the LRC.
“The Leduc Recreation Centre is a key destination for recreation and community activity,” says Lars Hansen, Mayor of the City of Leduc. “This partnership with Code Ninjas Leduc supports a valued facility, and we are pleased to welcome them as the naming sponsor of the Indoor Playground.”
Code Ninjas Leduc looks forward to fostering community connections and contributing to exploration and learning in the city. This is the business’s first sponsorship with the City of Leduc.
“Leduc is a growing, vibrant community, and as a new parent, I want to contribute by creating a space where kids can explore technology, creativity, and problem-solving in a fun and structured way,” says Raj Sharma, Code Ninjas Leduc. “Coming from a small town myself, I know how transformative access to technology and learning can be, and I want to bring those same opportunities to the next generation here. Code Ninjas is about preparing kids for the future while helping them grow with confidence.”
As part of the partnership, active LRC members will receive $100 off their first month at Code Ninjas Leduc. Contact Code Ninjas Leduc directly for details.
The LRC offers more than 300,000 square feet of premium, multi-use recreation and fitness facilities for people of all ages. The indoor playground is for children seven years of age and under.
A new sponsor celebration event will be held at the LRC in the coming months. Follow the Leduc Recreation Centre on Facebook and Instagram for details as they become available.
