Renewing Leduc’s Land Use Bylaw: We Want to Hear From You
Since spring 2025, the City of Leduc has been working on renewing the Land Use Bylaw to align with the City’s 2020 Municipal Development Plan. The goal of this project is to help address housing demand and affordability, and to make the bylaw easier for residents, builders, and developers to understand and use.
The Land Use Bylaw shapes how neighbourhoods develop and evolve, the types of homes available, and how services, shops, and green spaces are integrated—supporting residents at every stage of life. This work continues through 2026, with opportunities for residents to get involved now.
Your Voice Matters
Between November 2025 and January 2026, we gathered input on how Leduc’s neighbourhoods could evolve, including priorities and aspirations for the renewed bylaw. Your feedback, along with technical studies and best practices, informed the first draft of the updated Land Use Bylaw.
Join the conversation at our upcoming engagement sessions and help shape the future of land use in Leduc. At the sessions, you’ll:
- Learn about the new direction for the Land Use Bylaw, including key topics and proposed changes.
- Explore where different housing types will be located within existing and new communities.
- Share your thoughts to help shape the direction of new zoning regulations.
